[Video] J.Cole Speaks On Album And New Single

J. Cole was one of the many artists in attendance earlier tonight for The 2011 BET Awards Nomination Special that aired live on 106 & Park. During the broadcast he informed viewers that the new single off his Roc Nation debut album will come next week. Backstage in the press room J. Cole was asked about his album delay and his new single. According to Cole there’s no more holdups and it was just a matter of picking the right song, as of next week he’ll be in full promo mode with a new track dropping which samples a track from one of his favorite albums. While it isn’t a Jay-Z track he indicates it’s “in the family” so possibly Kanye? He ends off talking on the mixed reviews of "Disgusting" and his creative process when it comes to writing.
